COVID Protocols

Winter 2022-2023

Dear Friends:

We hope that you are managing to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic as well as possible. This has been a tremendous challenge for all of us. Thankfully, after reopening our office in July of 2020, our visits have been safe, pleasant, and timely.

We continue to follow the recommendations of the CDC, MIOSHA, and Kent County Health Department regarding infection prevention.

If you answer YES to any of the following questions please call our office prior to your appointment (616-363-3821)

  • Do you have COVID symptoms?

  • Have you tested positive for COVID within the past 10 days?

  • Have you been exposed to anyone with COVID within the past 10 days?

Due to the concern regarding SARS-CoV-2 variants, and for the safety of our patients and employees, we are continuing with the following protocols:

  • Screening questions will be asked. We will take your temperature with a no-touch forehead thermometer.

  • We will escort you to a treatment room. Please use the hand sanitizer that we have available.

  • We ask that you come into our office alone. If necessary, one caregiver or family member, who also must be screened, may come in with the patient.

  • We will be wearing masks while we are with you.

  • Please keep social distancing to at least six feet.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation.

Jim, Adele, and Team
