Invisalign
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a series of, thin, clear
custom-moulded aligners that straighten
your teeth.
Who benefits from Invisalign?
Many adults who want to improve their smile can use Invisalign
aligners. Invisalign can successfully treat either crowding or
spacing of teeth as well as other dental alignment problems.
How does Invisalign
work?
Invisalign uses a series of clear plastic
aligners to straighten your teeth. The
typical case takes about a year to complete.
In order to begin with the Invisalign
process Dr. Lockwood will take impressions
of your teeth and send them to Invisalign.
Then Dr. Lockwood works with Invisaligns
computer imaging software to create a
treatment plan that is right for you.
During treatment you will need to visit
Dr. Lockwood every 1-2 months to monitor
your progress. The aligners are so thin
and clear that it is almost impossible
for anyone to tell you are wearing them.
During the course of the treatment you
can enjoy watching your new smile develop.
